Principal

 

I am honored to service the Claymont Elementary School community as the principal! I have a passion for supporting students and families throughout their educational journey and look forward to partnering with families and watching students grow and learn. 

 

I  was born and raised in Delaware and graduated from The Charter School of Wilmington. I attended the University of Delaware where I majored in Elementary Education. After college, I immediately went into teaching and never looked back. I have taught grades 2-5 in Delaware and Maryland and continued learning by pursuing my master's and doctorate degrees at Wilmington University. Beyond my first love of being a classroom teacher, I have served as an instructional support teacher, Dean of Students, and Assistant Principal. I am beyond ecstatic to be a Claymont Cougar and have an amazing year with our students!

 

I have an amazing husband and three wonderful children, who will all be in BSD middle school students!
